About Liat Rambach

Liat Rambach's work is largely oriented towards the exploration of colours and the colours that lie within colours themselves. This pursuit aims to uncover the structure and foundation of what lies behind, below the surface and within its depths. The process involves tearing colours apart and breaking them down to reach their essence.

As part of a larger scope, she investigates fundamental and founding themes such as femininity, genesis, transformation and blooming. Interiorness and exteriorness appear as a leitmotiv in her work. Viewers cannot help but be moved, thereby allowing their own imagination to flow freely.

Liat Rambach obtained a Masters Degree in interior architecture and design from ESAG Penninghen, Paris. Liat Rambach worked in New York, spent over a decade imagining and creating intimate spaces for private clients giving way to tailor made functional yet artistic creations, she has kept on developing a more solitary and personal pictorial outlet. This required intimacy manifests itself artistically on canvas through matter and bursts of colours. Today, her work as a painter has taken over most of her activity.
